At modacapetown, we value your business and strive to provide the best shopping experience possible. However, please note that our refund policy has been designed to ensure the smooth operation of our business and to minimize losses. Kindly review the following terms carefully before making a purchase.

  1. Refund Eligibility Window: Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the purchase date. No refunds will be processed after this time frame.

  2. Documentation Requirements: To initiate a refund, customers must provide the original receipt, the product's original packaging, and a detailed explanation of the reason for the return.

  3. Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 25% of the product's purchase price will be deducted from the refund amount to cover administrative costs and potential depreciation of the product.

  4. Partial Refunds: We reserve the right to offer partial refunds or store credit instead of full cash refunds, depending on the condition of the returned item.

  5. Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for covering the costs of return shipping. We recommend using our designated shipping carrier to ensure a smooth return process.

  6. Subjective Assessment: Refund requests will be subject to assessment by our experienced staff. Their judgment on the condition of the returned item will determine eligibility for a refund.

  8. Complex Process: To initiate a refund, customers must complete our online refund request form, upload scanned copies of required documentation, and await an email response from our team within 72 hours.

  9. Exclusions and Fine Print: Certain items, such as clearance, final sale, and personalized products, are non-refundable. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for a complete list of excluded items.

Request a return

  • Please download, print and complete the return form if you do not already have it. Request the return form using the form below.
  • Send your return form together with a photo of the products you are returning to info@modacapetown.co.za by e-mail.
  • Once approved, please ensure that your return is properly packaged and meets all the conditions below.
  • Clearly mark 'Returns' on the outer packaging of your package.
  • Use an insured tracking service to ensure your package arrives safely with us.
  • Send a follow-up email with your tracking information to info@modacapetown.co.za

Return Conditions and Guidelines:

  • All returned items must be unused, unopened and in original plastic packaging.
  • We are not responsible for the cost of returning the items.
  • Please ensure that all returned items are properly packaged so that they are not damaged in the post.
  • Please ensure all return packages are shipped with a trackable, insured service as we cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit.
  • Make sure the return form is approved - without approval, your return may not be processed.
  • Promotional products are not available for return.


Easy returns in three simple steps:

Step 1:  Request the return form via the contact form below. Provide your order number, e-mail address and reason for return.

Step 2:  Send your order
Send the items together with the completed return form to the address on
the return form. Make sure you provide the package with a Track and Trace code.
As a broadcaster you are responsible and we do not want any misunderstandings
to arise.

Step 3:  Receive the purchase amount minus any charges or fees on your bank account
When we have received the package within five working days.  Note: If your package is not shipped to us or has not yet arrived you will get now refund until your package is inspected and processed by our team.

We process our returns in China, which means that you will have to return your package outside the EU. This can involve high costs of up to 25 euros, which we do not reimburse .
